Arabian Bemco submitted the lowest bid for Al-Qurayyat Open Cycle Power Plant with a winning offer of S.R 252,112,000.

Participating contractors were SSEM (S.R 259,000,000), NCC (S.R 319,275,000) and Al-Fanar (S.R 331,375,000).

Al-Qurayyat Open Cycle Power Plant, located north-east of Saudi Arabia, is an extension to the existing plant and will boost a net output of 160 MW by adding 2 GTGs and 2 GSTUs including all support facilities and balance of plant.

The scope of work includes design, procurement, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, I&C equipment and materials required to place the GTGs in service together with unit auxiliary transformers, MV and LV Switchgear, GCB, IPB Duct and cables, connection to 132 kV GIS Substation, 132 kV cables and all associated work.
